Please Take Our New  Neighborhood SurveyThe Parkwood Neighborhood Association (PNA) is a forum for neighbors to share information and implement change. We focus on cultivating our diverse community, promoting a safe and pleasant neighborhood environment, and serving as a liaison between the Parkwood neighborhood and the City of Shoreline.

We welcome all Parkwood neighbors who would like to help build a greater sense of community by:

  • Getting to know each other: Helping to organize community events and activities that will encourage neighbors to get out and meet each other.
  • Working on local issues: Addressing neighborhood challenges and opportunities such as crime prevention, emergency preparedness,
    and park improvements.
  • Being informed about our community: Helping to represent our neighborhood at the council of neighborhoods, and becoming informed about issues and opportunities in greater Shoreline.

Parkwood is a neighborhood of Shoreline, Washington. Its boundaries are
Aurora Ave. (west), Interstate 5 (east), N. 160th St. (north), and N. 145th St. (south).

In May 2014, PNA won second place in the nation for 2014 Neighborhood of the Year in the Neighborhoods USA national competition! Read the details on our news page.

Traffic Mural Project — Slowing Down Neighborhood Traffic

The PNA is considering applying for a mini-grant from the City for installing murals at intersections in our neighborhood streets. Traffic murals can help with traffic calming, and it's also a fun way to get together with your neighbors and have fun painting!
